Hello Everyone:

I’m currently writing this as I’m sick in bed with yet another Fibromylagia flare-up, but I’m trying to think above the pain and the brain fog surrounded by my nurse kitties to share with you something that I am asked about all the time. What do I eat?

With all my medical issues and food sensitivities/ allergies, (no pity please it’s made me the woman I am today) I’m asked nearly on a daily basis what foods I eat. As most of you know I’ve been living a Paleo lifestyle since August 2009 and started a Ketogenic/ Paleo lifestyle last April. If you know me and know me well, I enjoy cooking.

I’m excited to now bring you some tried and true recipes that Brian and I thoroughly enjoy to my website. In honor of International Waffle Day on Sunday, March 25 I’m sharing with you not one, but two waffles recipes that are mouthwatering. The first one is a sweet one made from pumpkin and blueberries. The second one is a savory one made from cabbage, (yes I did say cabbage), and avocados. Honestly, I have to say that the savory one is my favorite of these two recipes. That is saying a lot because if anyone knows me, I LOVE PUMPKIN!

The nice thing about how I have it set up on my web page is you just click the photo of the recipe and a PDF of the recipe will pop up. If you know anything about searching for recipes online is that it can be quite a chore because you find a recipe that you want to try, but then you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page through all the step by step instructions to actually get the recipe. None of that here. Just click the picture and your recipe pops up.

I’m hoping to share recipes at least once a month only because taking care of you is my first priority, that is after taking care of myself first.

I hope you’re as excited about this as I am.

Yours in health,
Dana Brandt-Tinker
